In 1983, while living in Kiowa, Oklahoma, the Lord planted a dream in Duane and Sue
Sheriff's hearts. The Lord began speaking to them about providing Duane's teaching
tapes free of charge.
God soon moved the Sheriffs to Atoka, a nearby city, where they met Gary and Betty
Armstrong. The Armstrongs became instrumental in causing the dream to become a reality.
Gary helped with mailing tapes while Betty maintained records and a mailing list.
As they freely gave their time, the dream became a long-term vision to reach the world
with this powerful teaching ministry. It was named Zoe Life Outreach.
In 1987, the Lord again moved the Sheriffs when he called them to pastor a church in
Durant, Oklahoma. Zoe was merged with Victory Christian Center. From 1983 to present,
the free tape ministry has grown beyond anything Pastors Duane and Sue ever dreamed.
This worldwide endeavor touches millions of lives around the globe with Pastor Duane's
dynamic teaching. The ministry now has multiple locations in southeastern Oklahoma
and north Texas.
In addition to the sanctuary, the Durant facilities include a warehouse, mailroom,
and state-of-the art duplicating machines. It also includes a school, daycare center,
food bank, clothing bank, and a Christian counseling center. Over 200,000 needy
people have been fed by the food bank. The counseling center is open to the community
and is used by the state and local courts for rehabilitation.
"So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of one another.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us." (Romans 12:5-6)
Victory Life Family Worship Center includes a medley of people God has called from the
north, south, east, and west to be a part of the vision. There are housewives and
career women, janitors and judges, doctors and school teachers, young and old serving
side by side to love God and love people.
Pastor Duane's unselfish, obedient heart has allowed the God-inspired dream to be
birthed in countless others. Through his anointed teaching, a host of Spirit-led
pastor/teachers have been raised up with servants' hearts. These men and
women allow Pastor Duane to maintain a rigorous schedule as he ministers to various
churches throughout the country.
God has richly blessed this ministry with hard-working, dedicated volunteers and
financial support from people like you. Because of a dream, approximately 60,000
cassette tapes, CDs, and DVDs are produced and shipped each month. Thank you for
